The Taigun has two turbo charged petrol engines to choose from. Here’s how you can think about them. First, the most wallet friendly option is the 1 litre three-cylinder engine that makes 115 PS of power with the 6-spd manual transmission. It's more affordable, more fuel efficient and more fun. Most importantly it is available in all three trim lines – Comfortline, Highline and Topline. Second, for traffic life - on a budget go for the 1 litre with the six-speed automatic transmission. The downside is that fuel consumption will be high if you aren’t gentle with the throttle and it isnt as effortless to drive as the dual clutch. Third – automatic buyers - save up for the 1.5 litre engine with the dual clutch - Because it's the better engine with better fuel efficiency and cheaper service costs. Yeah the DCT is lower at least in the first 60,000km! This engine is much better for highway driving as it makes overtaking snappy. yes, there is a manual on offer too. Celebrate it.
