A cubic region of empty space , warped by the mass of a moving object - in 3D
The flat 2D 'rubber sheet' representation of space does not give the right idea - it's OK for simple purposes , but does not show that space bends towards the center of gravity for the object , and can therefore be a bit confusing.
I wanted to show that 3D space bends in 3 dimensions toward the object , and how that distortion alters space as the object moves.
It is important to note that this animation is not even close to scale , and does not show the effects of a rotating object :-)
Created in DAZ 3D 4.5 using built-in primitives,
