Taken from the VHS tape "Holland America - Cruise Memories - MS Volendam" from (I would assume) the late 90s to early 2000s.
This cruise - the Panama Canal Westbound - would depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and visit the Bahamas, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, several ports in Mexico, and finally complete its journey in San Francisco, California.
Given this tape shows about 3000 things to do in each port city, I can only imagine the cruise takes about 3 months. No word on how vacationers would get back to Florida after docking in California and a full season has passed.
