Voltage Divider Problems
Physics Ninja looks at voltage divider problems. In the first case (no loading) I consider an ideal voltmeter with infinite resistance and derive the voltage divider equation and use it for several examples. In the second case (loading) I consider what happens when we include the resistance of the voltmeter.
