يا أللّه

رجوت منك الهداية
In this month
في هذا الشهر
Can you fill my heart with hope
املأ قلبي بالأمل
When I’m fasting
في صيامي
It’s you who I abide in
أنت من ألتجئ إليه
And if I’m struggling
وإذا كنت أعاني
You’re the one who helps me cope
فأنت من يعينني عليه

And I pray
وأصلي
Under the glow of the crescent moon
تحت ضوء الهلال
