How to Redirect a Subdomain to an External URL in cPanel
Point your subdomain to a completely different website or external URL using cPanel’s redirect tool.
1. Log in to cPanel and click “Subdomains” under “Domains.”
2. Find the subdomain you wish to redirect and note its document root.
3. Go back to the main cPanel page and select “Redirects” in the “Domains” section.
4. Choose the subdomain from the dropdown and enter the external target URL.
5. Click “Add” to confirm; allow some time for the new redirect to propagate.
