Ava Sklener - A Student's Experience with USACE
Ava Sklener, a student trainee with the Buffalo District and a sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, talks about her experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
As a student trainee, she spent the summer with the district working on the backend of projects and conducting site visits to see how the work is carried out.
She has a passion for engineering and someday hopes to own her own construction business.
