TOKYO: Japanese Wedding & Exploring the City | 4K
Congratulations Bret and Kisun! We traveled to Tokyo for one of my best friend's weddings in Yokohama, Japan. The Groom moved to Japan for work a few years ago and met his wonderful wife in Yokohama. The wedding was a wonderful mix of culture with Western Style and Japanese style- the ceremony and reception being Western Style (a first time for the venue) and the After-party being Japanese
style.

TOP TRAVEL TIPS:
*Get a JR Rail Pass before you go! (Must purchase online before getting to Japan) You can get around much of Tokyo with it, and we also went to Hiroshima and Kyoto with the pass with no additional charges. We bought the 7 day pass.
*Get cash before going from AAA- almost everywhere requires cash!
*Hotels are very expensive, but for a big group, AirBnB's are the way to go in Japan!
*Tokyo SkyTree was ok... very expensive, overcrowded, and the views are all blocked by the bars in the window so no panoramas are possible. Go at night for a better view, or go up Tokyo Tower or a different free building: http://en.rocketnews24.com/2013/10/23...
*The MariCAR tour was amazing. Only $60 for a 2 hour tour. Don't miss it. REQUIRES AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE. You can get this easily at any AAA. Reserve online before going: http://maricar.com/en/shinagawa.html
*Go to Shibuya Crossing and spend time there- it's surprisingly fun going back and forth.
*Tokyo is huge, but easy to get around. Stay somewhere near a main subway station and this will be even easier.
