This video tells you how to use extensions in MIT App Inventor and what are extensions.
MIT App Inventor Extensions adds additional features which cannot be done using the components in MIT App Inventor.
Steps to Import MIT App Inventor Extensions-
First, login to MIT App Inventor and open your project.
To import an extension, look in the components palette at the left of the screen under Extensions and click the “Import extension” .
Choose your Extension File(.aix) file and upload it to MIT App Inventor.
Now, drag the MIT App Inventor Extension to use it.
