This is the result of MIRO Video Convertor transcoding a raw 10 Gigabyte Mandelbrot zoom video to 179 Megabyte WebM. Visible artifacts appear even at this high bitrate.
How this was made:
XaoS 3.2 to render a zoom animation as 2374 PNG frames. Each frame is sized 1440x1080, antialiasing and recalculate always set on.
VirtualDub 1.9.8 used to losslessly pack the 2374 PNG frames to an uncompressed 10 Gigabyte AVI.
MIRO Video Convertor used to convert the AVI to a WebM.
The uploaded webm video plays Ok in Chromium, but crashes Media Player Classic and VLC. SMPlayer cannot play it.
