An illustration of calibration error due to incorrectly defined standards. Specifically, it is a plot of calibration error magnitude animated across frequency. Calibration error magnitude is defined as the difference between a calibrated measurement and the true response for a device. The error is due to systematic error in the calibration standard definitions for a 4-standard, over-determined one-port calibration. The kit is a 'Short, Delay, Delay, Radiating-Open' (SDD(RO)). The errors are incorrect delay short lengths in two of the standards.
