What's the Problem with Tyrese Haliburton?
Tyrese Haliburton has become a somewhat polarizing player. Some people think that Haliburton is quickly becoming one of the best point guards in the NBA, and there are others that think he's become overrated.
The Indiana Pacers are of course still in the process of rebuilding, but it's clear that Tyrese Haliburton is the focal point of the team until further notice. He's shown that he has amazing chemistry and synergy with Buddy Hield and Myles Turner, and his style of play is a nice contrast to that of recent lottery pick Bennedict Mathurin.
Tyrese Haliburton was an All-Star last season, and he had some of the highest assists per game in the NBA. On any given night during the regular season, a Tyrese Haliburton pass would often be one of the biggest highlights.
So what is it about Haliburton that gets people hung up? There are more flaws to his game than you may think, but at the same time, he might be significantly better than you realize. His Team USA appearances showcased the good, and the bad.
