SAP AFS How to create Characteristic/Class for Material Master Data
Picture 01: Enter t-code CT04 for create characteristic.
Picture 02: Enter characteristic's name and press Enter.
Picture 03: Press Yes button.
Picture 04: On Basic data view enter Description (Color), Chars Group (AFS characteristics for mat. master data).
Picture 05: Enter number of characters.
Picture 06: On Values view enter Characteristics value and Description. Save.
Picture 07: Characteristic saved
Picture 08: Enter t-code CL01 for create Class.
Picture 09: Enter Class name and Class type and press Enter.
Picture 10: On Basic data view enter Description.
Picture 11: On Char. view enter Characteristic (COLOR). Save.
Picture 12: Class created.
Picture 13: Enter MM01 for create material.
Picture 14: Enter Material number, Industry sector and Material Type.
Picture 15: Select views (include Classification).
Picture 16: On Basic data 1 view enter Material name, Base unit of Measure and Material group.
Picture 17: On Classification view enter Class (TESTCLASS).
Picture 18: On General view enter value for characteristic COLOR.
Picture 19: Value GREEN is entered. Save.
Picture 20: Other materials data we can entered using MM01 with copy from material.
