Recorded on Tascam 4 track cassette recorder (Porta Ministudio 07( and Maxell XLII Position High Tape. Other gear used: RD8, ASM Hydrasynth, Tascam Porta Ministudio 07.
Boss pedals use : fuzz, delay, reverb (digital), compressor pedal.
Console Glow is Dutch Electronic Music
This project started in 2013. After moving to Berlin and rediscovering the electronic music in that city, the passion for EDM grew. During the cornona pandemic there was a lot of time to think about and delve deeper into the music. Lots of recordings where made on tape.
Workflow / cheat codes
´I think it´s cool to have a hybrid set-up. I prefer to perform my tracks while recording, instead of editing my tracks into existence. In that sense I am old school.´
I like to cheat. Often I have a dawless starting point, but after that I filter and rearrange as I see fit. But some tracks are recorded straight to tape and later digitalised.
