The filament no longer comes out but the extrusion mechanism works normally Ender-3 V3 SE
date 27 février 2024
with slow print settings for regular PLA filament, the machine executed a first print file to completion (3 hours of print work correctly executed).
I restarted a new print which could not go to the end, after around 20 - 30 mn... the filament no longer came out of the extrusion head, even though all the stepper motors of the machine were normally executing the gcode from the print file (including the extruder motor which continued to run following the instructions in the print file) but the filament was not advancing...
After two other printing attempts without success, it turned out that the temperature of the extruder heating body automatically dropped to 140°C during printing. this temperature of 140°c is set by default in the printer's system software... I don't know how to access the modification of this default temperature of the print head set at 140°c.
Changing this default temperature of the extruder head will certainly solve the printing problem on my Ender-3 SE VE
Note: it should be noted that the display screen nevertheless indicated the printing temperatures set in the print file (210°c). While the temperature of the print head had dropped to 140°c in progress printing.
