Ascender Config as Code with Network Backups to Git and Point-in-Time-Rollback

In this demo, we’ll show you how to use Ascender to back up network configurations to a git repository. The process includes storing the network configuration in standard CLI format within a git repository. When configuring the equipment with Ascender, a backup is first created, followed by cloning the configuration repo, and updating the devices. A standout feature is the ability to easily rollback configurations if needed. By specifying a backup tag, the automation retrieves the correct snapshot from git and restores it.
