DIGITAL MARRIAGE
Request for concluding a marriage contract outside the Judicial Department.
Service description:
This service enables you to submit a request to conclude a marriage contract outside the premises of Court , through a marriage officer who travels to the location of the contract parties, namely: husband, wife, guardian, or an attorney for each of them, and two witnesses of knowledge) or making the contract through a videoconference call
Service procedures:
1. Submit and upload the application and the required documents.
2. Pay the fees prescribed for the marriage contract
3. Booking an appointment with a marriage officer
4. The marriage contract is concluded by the marriage officer.
5. Receive the marriage contract.
Required Documents
• Emirates ID card and passport of the fiance, the fiancée, the guardian or of their attorneys.
• Passport for expats with their residence or visit visa marked by the entry stamp.
• Identity cards for witnesses.
Terms and Conditions
• Presence of (the fiancé, the fiancée, the guardian or their representatives, and the witnesses) through a video conference call or by attending personally before the marriage officer.
• If the applicant is a
representative of the principal, he must show the original power of attorney, and must abide by the powers granted to him by the principal, and have the right to delegate someone else.
• If the document was written in a language other than Arabic, it must be translated by a legal translation office, certified by the Ministry of Justice.
• Documents issued outside the country must be certified by the competent authorities (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
