Here’s one now: the fakie shuvit revert.
For this trick, you of course have to have shuvits down really well. Riding fakie is important, too, and if you’ve done fakie ollies and are good with pivots, you’re ready.
This can be slightly awkward at first, and challenging.
1. Ride fakie—what is now your front foot is on the tail, with toes just hanging off. Your back foot is in the center, with toes hanging off.
2. Pop the shuvit—you know shuvits like the back of your hand.
3. As the board is finishing its 180, catch with your front foot and then your back foot a split-second later, just as the board is hitting ground.
4. Now you get into the revert, the fast pivot.
Whip the board around in 180 while your body stays in the same direction. That hard pivot is that something extra to this trick, besides the fact that you’re riding fakie.
Great job!
