I'm pretty sure nobody's going to get this reference. But with Fontaine's story done I've been haunted by last year's Inversion of Genesis quest.
As it applies here we had an Inazuman coming to Sumeru and making the story all about him. So it's only fair for Cyno to return the favor and be the only Sumeran in an otherwise all Inazuman banner set haha. Yes I'm a nerd and lore junkie. Have you met me?
So there aren't any new characters at all and not even first time reruns either. Wait no. Kirara. Well I've had her since her debut and got pretty comfortable with her abilities so there lol. Anyway Kirara's great for exploration. Activate her hold skill and you can scale walls faster than normal and also run at a faster pace. It also comes bundled with a shield so feel free to go nuts! Her skill also controls much better than Sayu and Yelan's though she's probably not as fast. Naturally as a Dendro character her primary role is just to apply that Dendro. Then you can Hyperbloom, Aggravate, Bloom or even Burn to your heart's content! Shinobu is great for the first two. With her healing skill she will allow you to apply Electro to anything you come in contact with. Her Burst is probably not something people think about though. It's got a limited range and won't be applying as much Electro as you could get out of her skill.
Ayato and Cyno are both great 5*s. Ayato is essentially an alternate Childe who applies terrific amounts of Hydro though they've both since been outdone by the Genshin Blastoise that is Neuvillette. Still with his fast striking skill and his AoE Burst you can't really go wrong with him. (also it's fun to pair his Burst up with Ganyu's) Cyno is another character that can make use of Kirara's hefty amounts of Dendro on top of Shinobu's healing. His Burst lasts a long time so you'll want to be able to keep the Dendro on the field to make use of it. Each time an eye appears on screen you'll want to use his skill so when it comes to him as long as you plan on using his Burst you'll also want to save his skill. You don't want it to end up still cooling down when that eye appears.
While saying all that I'm going to suggest that Mihoyo was hoping you'd go after Furina. After using her for the last three weeks I can say even my OCD about keeping my party's HP full hasn't stopped me from enjoying her gameplay. While Charlotte is definitely going back into the vault after I max her Companionship the one two punch of Furina and Baizhu is very fun and if you pace it right you can end each battle back at full HP anyway.
