Converting DMS to Other Formats in Excel
This video demonstrates how to convert an angular measurement in degrees-minutes-seconds DMS hyphenated format to other formats, including decimal degrees D.d and the format required for Civil 3D, D.mmss format. This video also shows you how to get back to a hyphenated DMS format or D.mmss format once you have used the decimal degrees to do calculations in Excel.
