Finding the Best Power BI Data Connector - SQL Database
I believe most Power BI report creators started building or are going to build reports with “Get Data from Excel”; using either a local file or a folder on a network drive.
However, sooner or later this import method will slow down due to the limits of Excel and the Excel connector to Power BI. This is exactly what happened to me, so I was trying to find the best possible connector type to overcome this problem.
In this video series, I will show you the options I checked before finally finding the most superior connector type. BUT no spoilers.
