We're finally getting more details about Drop Zone mode in Battlefront. This is Skilled here with EA Central and today we're going over an all new team based multiplayer mode. And remember, this will be playable in the beta.
Drop Zone is similar to a King Of The Hill or Control style gameplay. In 8 on 8 gameplay, Rebel and Empire teams fight to control drop pods falling on to the planet's surface. Players have to run over to the drop pod's landing site and trigger it to begin capturing. Your team wins if you capture five pods or control the majority of them after the 10 minute match is over. If a pod is heavily contested, a new pod drops down to increase variety. The players would then have to fight over multiple pods.
