July 26. Sunday, 8th Sunday after Pentecost. No fast.
In today's episode, we'll explore in detail the Gospel miracle of the multiplication of the five loaves and two fish that fed thousands. We'll discuss why God requires our participation in solving problems. In the Epistle Reading, we'll examine Paul's address to the Corinthian Christians, who had begun to divide into factions and argue over whose spiritual leader was the best. In the church calendar, we commemorate the Holy Fathers of the six Ecumenical Councils and celebrate the Synaxis of the Archangel Gabriel.
