Here's a really simple, but really ExTremelly complex program that gIves audio responses back to the use depending on what they say using vistas speech recognition application on Vista.
Say something and you will get an audio response, or different actions.
I built this application using Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition
my.computer.audio.play (My.Resources.Test, audioplaymode.background) , easy as pie.
