In-game Stat Menu Improvements,Abandoned Eggs, Elemental Whirlpools & More!! || Creatures of Sonaria
In-game stat menu now displays some of the common impactors the player may experience to important base stats!

After processing comments throughout the last few campfires, l've gone and implemented two of the most recent & frequently asked questions as features:
Will rain ever prevent moisture loss?
• Rain now prevents moisture loss as of 30th August :D
Will we ever get new abilities? gameplay can feel a little boring with the same ones over and over
• New abilities instead of only creatures every week will start cropping up, Notice Toxic Trail & First Strike abilities!

LORE EVENT COMING BACK ON 20TH
SEPTEMBER
Community Feedback:
• Community seems happy with the progression of the community vote redesigns, y'all much prefer voting than the studio taking it completely free-hand!
• Community doesn't want Lore event to be as chaotic and strenuous this year, will make sure we don't have the silly pearl system again!
• Players requested that we attempt to make monthly mutations "Nest" obtainable only instead of both growing & nesting. Do I quite like the idea.
• Players still really want trait removal tokens & named skin save slots (with palette usage display)
• Community likes the more varied/ staggered tier release, ie. tier 1, tier 4, tier 3, tier 5, tier 2, etc
News on in-progress discussions/ development:
• Xeleviprex the community creature is almost here! It will be a group loyalty reward!
• Herbivore Migration zones,
Current Idea, Subject to Change: these would be biome locked, rotating areas where herbivores received flat buffs to encourage them to move from biome to biome, creating migratory routes, giving carnivores the opportunity to hunt realistically/ambush prey on the route.
• Abandoned Eggs,
Current Idea, Subject to Change: Player-less nests containing a single individual egg, players can opt to spawn into this random tradelocked slot via the abandoned nest from their menu, or via interacting with the nest in-game with the abandoned model.
Funky ideas and concepts [ideas/concepts that were discussed by Cinnal
• Elemental Whirlpool Ability/Drags you towards the player with the ability active, inflicting ailments and scaling damage the closer you get to the centre of the whirlpool
• Old/disused abilities perhaps being reworked again to make them fun/more interesting
• "Orb projectile" idea,
Projectile breaths, "element orbs" that are fired from a creature's mouth that travel a certain distance before fizzling out/ disappearing.
Think similarly to peashooters from Plants vs Zombies, or Shadow Ball, from Pokemon.
Basically just an orb-like projectile that travels x distance and hits a target.
