UNDERSTAND a BUILD before you decide to BREAK IT!
The Elder Scrolls Online has billions of possibilities and some of the most fun to be had in the game is exploring all the things you want to explore. BUT if you are going to use a BUILD as a FOUNDATION for your own, understand how it all functions and how it is intentionally designed FIRST. Have the finished product in front of you and then adjust accordingly, IF necessary.
Lack of relevant experience with the finished product can backfire. There is nothing wrong with playing how YOU want to play. That's the name of the game after all. BUT some people try too hard to "be creative". You cannot FORCE creativity, it takes time.
Educate yourself more about how and WHY some things work and others don't, and you will have much more success making it work for YOU! ;)
