This is a quick guide on how to fix a broken Discover Store in SteamOS. This works for both Steam Deck OLED and LCD.

Sometimes the Discover store configuration gets corrupted/ messed up, preventing flatpak applications to run / install.

This guide will show you how to fix it quickly and easily!

commands used in konsole and a description of what it does / expected behavior -

flatpak remotes (display the flatpak repos)

sudo flatpak remote-delete flathub (this will delete the repo)

sudo flatpak remote-delete flathub-beta (this will delete the repo)

flatpak remotes (should be blank now)

sudo flatpak remote-add flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flat... (this wll re-add the repo)

sudo flatpak remote-add flathub-beta https://flathub.org/beta-repo/flathub... (this wll re-add the repo)

flatpak remotes (this will now show the 2 added repos)
