AC transformer symbol & footprint design using EasyEDA
AC to AC step down transformers are very integral part of linier voltage power supply design, they help to downgrade the 230V/50Hz AC voltage into lower AC voltages without changing the frequency. The design of components library for these components is very difficult as they do not come with dedicated datasheets, hence we used manual methods of creating schematic symbol and PCB footprint in this video.
