The familiar Greek words found in many Christian liturgies. This particular Kyrie Eleison is from Mass 2 of the Roman Catholic Liturgy. It is sung by the well known Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo de Silos. I have taken this recording from the CD "Their Finest Chants" (2006). The images are of various monasteries and their cloisters, gardens, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have any idea what many of the monasteries are called or where they are located.
The lyrics are Kyrie Eleison, Christe Eleison, Kyrie Eleison which means Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy.
