Arcade1Up - Backlit Marquee Options for your Cabinet
The marquee is one of the key components of a Retro Arcade cabinet. When you walked into the arcade, pizza parlor, bowling alley, or corner store, you looked for your favorite game’s marquee. If it was dark, it meant it was broken or turn off. If it was lit (Backlit), you knew your quarters were going to bet our ticket to some great times. And maybe just maybe, you’d get that high score this time around.

i have seen the Retro Collector’s solution in person. I have paid out of my pocket for two and will review as soon as I receive them.
BREAKDOWN OF COSTS
The total bill was $108.32 which was supplies for 2 marquee signs. Home Depot (everything except lights and vinyls) total: $48.94**; Amazon (2 LED light bars) total: $25.98; Broad Street Decals (Galaga & SF2 decals) total: $33.40.
** Home Depot total included $12.97 Center Snips to cut the angle bracket and an extra can of paint @ $3.96 and plastic drop cloth @ $2.98 to paint the two arcade cabinets’ back covers. The size of the angle bracket alone would not require the drop cloth (could use a Amazon box) so the total could be $88.41 for 2 marquees, if no extra paint, snips and drop cloth were purchased.
Cost of two ready made marquees from The Retro Collector is $92 + $ 11.95 or $103.95
