How To Find Your Niche ||
I’m honored and petrified to announce that I’ll be doing a TED Talk. Despite how forward facing my career is and how much I love connecting with people, I’m far more confident in my styling skills than my language skills – so taking the stage is an intimidating thought! A few years ago, a very close friend showed me this venn diagram and suddenly it all made sense. I was 54 and the combination of my skills, the need in the community, and my background converged together and what I was meant to do finally made sense.
It’s never too late to trust in yourself and do the scary, wonderful thing, so I’m going to say yes to the dress. I’ve got insight to share about my journey at TedX South Lake, so stay tuned!
