Volhynian Extermination of Poles
In connection with the 80th anniversary of the culmination of the so-called Volhynia massacre, I would like to remind you of my film from two years ago. fri "Volhynian Extermination of Poles". In it, I talk about the murders of Poles in Volhynia, carried out by Ukrainian nationalists in 1943. This is a topic that is the darkest page of Polish history during World War II. For more than half a century, he was absent from our history, and only after the fall of communism did we begin to get to know him gradually. I decided to tell about it in my film, which I entitled "The Volhynian extermination of Poles". However, I am aware that this is a very complex and multi-threaded topic. As part of the formula of short films I have adopted, I am not able to tell you about everything, which is why I will return to this topic in some time to raise one important topic, which I mention only briefly in the film "Volhynian Extermination of Poles". It is of course about the attitude of the Polish Underground State and the Home Army towards the extermination of Poles from Volhynia. I warmly invite you to watch.
