Single Phase half wave Controlled Rectifier with RL load with FD
Single Phase Half wave controlled rectifier with RL load gives us the controlled DC output voltage. The SCR is triggered at an angle alfa and scr comes in conduction state due to which input voltage is connected to the load and output voltage comes from the instant where the scr is turned on. For neagtive half cycle we donot get the output voltage. In during negative cycle inductor start discharge through free wheeling diode. In negative cycle input is disconnected from input and the negative part of output voltage is removed through FD.
