Hello and welcome to Sapphire Consulting Group.
I am Kristy Gouldsmith and I founded the company to provide specialist services in data protection for business, charities and other organisations. I advise a wide variety of organisations on data protection and direct marketing law and conduct data protection audits and deliver training courses.

Unlike some consultants who take a short course and call themselves experts, I am highly qualified and experienced. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, a Bachelor of Laws degree, a Masters of Laws degree and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education. I practiced law for nine years and taught degree level law for five years. I also understand the business landscape in Cornwall.
I offer a personal service for my clients and take time to understand their business. A good data protection audit requires conservations and information gathering — something that you won’t get with a computer programme that promises to make you compliant. A computer programme also won’t explain the laws on direct marketing and consent but I can.
I am a business professional and balance compliance with commercial practicalities. I can offer practical solutions to your data protection issues.
