Microservices are all the rage these days. Developers around the world are delivering software faster thanks to microservices architectures. In this course, you'll learn the skills needed to build Java microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. The course covers the core fundamentals of microservices in both theory (10%) and practice (90%). This knowledge will be applied to implementing microservices with Spring Boot 2.5 and Java 16. But staying up to date when it comes to microservices is a major challenge. In 2018, Netflix announced that several core Spring Cloud projects were entering maintenance mode. This means that no new functionality would be added to these projects, meaning they were deprecated. Therefore, in December 2018, the Spring Cloud team recommended several important deprecations:

⚡ Hystrix -- Resliience4J
⚡ Ribbon -- Spring Cloud Load Balancer
⚡ Zuul 1 -- Spring Cloud Gateway
⚡ Archaius 1 -- Spring Cloud Config
