Fixing The Diablo 4 Blank Character Screen/Necromancer Selection Issue!
Having issues with Diablo 4 Beta loading in and thinking all your characters got deleted? Or when selecting your necro that your game has crashed/froze or locked up completely? SIMPLE FIX!!
When leaving to desktop from the Diablo 4 Beta, just make sure you do that with any other character besides the Necromancer, then when you load into the game select any other character first, load into a game, leave Diablo 4 back to the character screen and select the Necromancer, no more hanging upon selecting the class or blank character load in screens!
What is causing this? 95% sure it is driver related as I did not have this issue before updating my drivers the night before this started happening to me.
The fix? Rollback your driver to the ones previous before you updated, it seems the update was aimed at fixing issues with new Nvidia Cards (2080ti-3080) and in turn has caused some issues with older cards. The ones I have seen issues on are all 1060 and 1070 cards, not sure on 1080s but likely, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the entire 10 serious of cards. Hope this helped!
