A common mistake made by beginners is mismatching politeness levels. For example, using 나 with 입니다 or 저 with the (이)야 ending. In this video I talk about when formal speech is used, as well as why you need to know it (even if you’re not giving a speech). And I talk about how formal speech should be used with 저 instead of 나.
