Today I'm going to show you a very simple technique for making frames for your paintings, spending very little or nothing at all.
The most important thing is to understand the layering technique so you don't need to make angled cuts, which would require specific tools to achieve a good result.
Another important thing is to understand material substitution. You can replace the glass with acetate, or even glue the print directly to the backing. Another important point is the wood; you can use new wood or even wood from pallets or crates.
You can use any material for this project; just see what you have available and get to work.
