Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT WK2 Front / Rear Differential Diff & Transfer Case Fluid Change / Replace with #Mopar bro #Fred_eazy21
Entire Driveline Fluid Change took me about 60 minutes on my Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT!
Procedures may be the same on the Dodge Durango
Tools:
8mm Allen Key
10mm Allen Key
10mm Socket
Ratchet & extension
75W-85 Axle lubricant and limited slip additive
2 Quarts of ATF+4
2 Quarts of 75W-85 (1.2 Quarts is called for from the deal but have 2 quarts on hand and fill until the fluid drips out of the hole)
Oil Hand pump
Gloves
Low profile oil drain pan
Rear Differential Steps Below:
1. Place oil drain pan under differential
2. Identify drain plug & fill plug
3. Remove fill plug
4. Remove drain plug
5. Clean both plugs
6. Install drain plug
7. Mix differential fluid with additive
8. Attach tube to 75W-85 Bottle
9. Insert tube into fill hole
10. Squeeze differential fluid in hole
11. Continue filling until fluid streams out of hole
12. Install fill plug
13. Clean up
Transfer case Fluid Steps Below:
1. Place oil drain pan under Transfer Case
2. Identify drain plug & fill plug
3. Remove fill plug
4. Remove drain plug
5. Clean both plugs
6. Install drain plug
7. Use Hand Pump to fill transfer case with ATF+4
8. Continue filling until fluid streams out of hole
9. Install fill plug
10. Clean up
Front Differential Fluid Steps Below:
1. Place oil drain pan under Front Differential
2. Identify drain plug & fill plug
3. Remove fill plug
4. Remove drain plug
5. Clean both plugs
6. Install drain plug
7. Fill Front differential with 75W-85 straight from bottle
8. Continue filling until fluid streams out of hole
9. Install fill plug
10. Clean up
