iPhone Application To Replace the Clipboard!
ERDC is researching and developing an iPhone application to potentially replace paper forms. After a hurricane, homeowners with damaged roofs can apply for assistance to have their roof covered with blue plastic to temporarily stop further damage until a permanent fix can be performed. This application process is currently achieved using paper forms. Using iPhones, data can be captured digitally and tracked all the way through the system from start to finish, saving countless hours in getting homeowners back into their homes after a crisis.
