I don't know if anyone is even going to watch this but I had to make this video for myself, if anyone does watch this and read this, I'm probably going to write a novel rant here lol sorry about this but I have to rant about these two.
I've been an emotional wreck this week after finishing seasons 1 to 3 of Buffy so I have a lot to unload. Basically I have been crying about Buffy and Angel for 18 years now, I don't know what it is about them (well I kind of do) but I actually bawl my eyes out, it's the only fictional thing that can actually make me properly cry, if you asked me 18 years ago what the biggest heartbreak of my life was I'd have said Buffy and Angel not ending up together and 18 years later, I still put it in my top 3 heartbreaks lol. Basically it pains me to the point I didn't watch Buffy for years because I just couldn't bare to think of them (I know I kind of sound crazy here but I'm not really lol it's only this couple that I've ever felt like this about) but I finally pushed myself to get past it to watch it again and I kind of regret it because I''ve been sad all week (I clearly need a life I know lol). I also always only watched Buffy seasons 1 to 3 when re-watching them, I could never and even more so today bare seeing them with someone else (I actually remember back in 2008 when I got my first laptop that there was a girl on fanpop and yahoo answers that felt the exact same way and I got talking to her about it lol I would love to talk to her again or anyone else that can relate to what I'm saying) and to think it's all because Angel left for his own show! one of the best love stories of the modern age got ruined because he left for another show! that's what makes it even worse, if there was any 2 characters in history of TV that were supposed to be together it was these two. The show constantly emphasized how they were each others true love and star crossed lovers and nothing could seperate them, I mean for crying out loud, he turned evil and she killed him and sent him to hell! and that still didn't seperate them! and then at the end of season 3 he just conveniently breaks up with her because she "deserves more" um no, it's all just insincere, it was simply because he was leaving for his own show so it just ruined everything and they deserved so much better and because of this any relationship they tried to have with other people after was just crap in my opinion because how can you beat true love? you can't and both of them already had it with each other so everyone else can only be second best. I still to this day can't believe they didn't end up together, and to this day the saddest scenes ever are Becoming Part 2 when she kills him, and I Will Remember You where they finally get to be together for good and Angel has to turn back time.........actually 2 of the most heartbreaking scenes I've ever seen, I can't stop crying watching them.
Basically I love Buffy & Angel so much, my entire childhood was them so that's why I sound crazy and emotionally invested in them, one of the most beautiful love stories of all time, true love in the purest form and it just physically pains me that they didn't end up together, it hurts to think about if Angel never left for his own show.
So basically I needed to make videos of them to deal with the sadness lol since I don't like the later seasons of Buffy I left out the B & A scenes from those episodes, I just have seasons 1 to 3 and the 1 Angel season one episode, I was trying to decide between a few songs, I didn't want to use a song that was already on good videos of them so I picked this song, I think it's a sweet and sad song, perfect for them, I wanted to show their sweet sadness and longing in this rather than their angst moments and sadly there are only so many scenes you can fit in a 4 minute video so there was many clips I had to leave out, I may make another one even though who is going to watch them besides me lol.
I don't know what's more embarassing, writing a whole novel on a fictional character video or writing a whole novel on a fictional character video when you know no one but you will see it lol. If anyone does see it though I hope you like it, I worked hard on it, this video is quite special to me since it's my first one of them (although technically I actually made a video of them in 2008 with Naked by Avril Lavigne and I recorded the video with my phone lol those were the days).
