We're building a database server using the latest hardware – a Supermicro platform, a 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor, and a bunch of brand-new enterprise PCI-E 4.0 SSDs from Samsung.

Important! In the video, we installed the processor in a socket without the special plastic retainer. We're very embarrassed, and this is wrong. We should have looked at the manual and not relied on "experience." Read the instructions. We'll fix everything, but we won't be re-uploading the video. Let this serve as a reminder to ourselves and to all of you.

You can donate rubles to buy hardware for the videos using this link. Monetization is no longer available, and the channel doesn't receive any special funding other than your donations. I'm grateful for every penny.
