Being born with Heterochromia is a rare genetic mutation. Dr. EyeGuy goes over the different types of Heterochromia including Heterochromia Iridum and Heterochromia Iridis, and explains when it can be concerning.
WHAT IS DISCUSSED IN THIS VIDEO
There are different types of Heterochromia. If you are born with Heterochromia, than you likely have congenital heterochromia, and usually a benign, beautiful condition. If you acquire a different colored eye later in life, then it could be linked with some potential problems and conditions. Different types of heterochromia include: Heterchromia Iridum, complete heterochromia, heterochromia Iridis, partial heterochromia, sectoral heterochromia, or central heterochromia. There are some famous celebrities that have heterochromia as well.
