Rough scratch test of my Relatively Accurate TurnTable (RATT), a HID controller prototype which uses an Avago ADNS-2080 mouse motion sensor to emulate a jogwheel with Atomix Virtual DJ.
The prototype is placed over a Pioneer CDJ-900 jogwheel, at a radius of 3.00in (7.62cm), so that it reaches a maximum precision of 37699 CPR at 2000 DPI.
The overall latency is fairly low - on the video it appears high, but that is because I was using the internal Realtek soundcard, which has a latency of around 20ms, much higher than the 4ms of RATT itself.
