Gold Bar Rim Moab Utah
We took a trip to Moab in early July. It was crazy hot. One of our goals on this trip was to tackle Gold Bar Rim Trail. Gold Bar Rim Trail is a great trail full of obstacles the will challenge even a built up 4x4. The "Water Fall" is the most noted of them. It is a very steep section of rock that you will face twice. You go down it on the way out and up it on the way back. Unfortunately we did not go up or down the Water Fall. We were on the trail by ourselves and we didn't want to risk any vehicle damage. We had never seen anyone go down the Water Fall, only up it. So not knowing what to except, we decided that is was a good place to turn around. We hit all of the steep sections on the way back and got to Challenge our H3 on several sections.
Our H3 is an Alpha (v8) Adventure lifted about 2" in the front and rear and it sits on Toyo Open Country MY 35" tires. Plesae do not attempt this trail on a stock vehicle.
