Imagine coloring the Kickstarter logo which needs three colors: two for the logo and one for the background. Web browsers support 16,777,216 colors, so that means trying to find one color scheme out of 4,676,074,359,675,096,566,160 possible combinations. Many will look similar, but even if you consider 99% of them redundant, you still have to weed out 46,760,743,596,750,965,661. For perspective, to generate one percent of all possible three color combinations, a modern desktop computer would need thousands of years and over five hundred thousand petabytes to store them. That's a million times more than can fit on your desktop hard drive. A ten color visual design has more possible color combinations than estimates of the number of atoms in the universe. Computers can't generate all possible color schemes and certainly can't evaluate them emotionally. Only you can discern good color from bad.
