Ceramic Artist Is A Master At Poking Holes Into Pottery
Eric Stearns, an Associate Professor of Art at Doane University, is known for his ornate perforated ceramic pots. Before the pot is hardened in an electric kiln, Stearns glazes and decorates the ceramic. The trick to getting perfect holes is to carefully pierce the clay before it's dried.
