Preattentive Processing with Eye-tracking
This is a recording of a preattentive processing test, where the subjects only instruction is in the beginning of this video. The test is based on the fact that we humans have the ability to find certain objects very fast depending on various elements. For example shape, size, color and so on.
We are four students at Blekinge Tekniska Högskola who wanted to look into what draws attention and can easily be spotted by users. Our underlying purpose is to allow for greater gamedesign having the knowledge about what users look at.
Conclusions from the test is gathered in a technical report, link will soon be uploaded.
The eye-tracking equipment used was a Tobii T60 Eye-tracker and a total of seven people did the experiment.
