I'll show you what you need to do in the garden this October. This includes planting garlic now to harvest nice, large bulbs next year. And harvesting dried beans. In an experiment, I show that snails can't walk through water—or can they? Is it a good idea to place your potted plants in a tub filled with water to protect them from snails?
One of my most important tools in the workshop is the band saw. My old band saw, made of heavy cast iron, weighs about 400 kg—so I can move it around the workshop, I place it on a thick plywood board with casters.
