⭐️ Episode 1 of the Basic Greek Grammar series features Thespinis Asimina's cousin Asterios, and her Yiayia Asimo! ⭐️

In this video series, Thespinis Asimina explicitly teaches basic Greek grammar concepts to improve viewer's Greek vocabulary, to clarify their knowledge of English grammar, and to form basic structured sentences in Greek to communicate with others.

Episode 1 covers the "Learning Intentions" for watching the Basic Greek Grammar video series.
The video embeds evidence-based pedagogy including Clarke, Timperley and Hattie's description of Learning Intentions (2003) and Dan Buckley's "SECRET Skills" (2008) to help viewers and students manage their learning throughout the video series. Other high-impact learning theories such as Active Learning is mentioned, which require the student to actively participate in and manage their learning to ensure they are achieving the intended learning outcomes. These metacognitive strategies are embedded in these videos for students to develop learning habits that can be transferrable to other subject areas.

Note: these videos are for beginners trying to learn the basics. I am a language teacher who uses my own videos to teach Greek and English literacy at a primary school, so learning basic grammatical concepts to improve overall literacy is paramount to us!
